Taste Bud Datil Pepper Sauce is an all purpose sauce.
Use Taste Bud in place of Catsup.
Use it on Seafood, Breakfast, Hamburgers, Hot Dogs; you should never have a
cook out without a Taste Bud combo on the table.
MEAT MARINATE
Use equal amounts of Taste Bud Datil Pepper Sauce and Coke. Pour into
container and shake. Wash the meat then add the meat to the mixture and let
stand for a couple hours. For more of a tang add Italian dressing to the mix.
SEAFOOD DIP
Add equal amounts of mayonnaise and Taste Bud Sauce. Mix thoroughly. Some
like to add lemon or lime juice.
THE BEST COCKTAIL SAUCE
In a small bowl, mix Taste Bud Sauce with juice from half of a lemon; add
horseradish to your taste, usually a spoon full, and a splash of Worcestershire
sauce, salt and pepper. Enjoy!
WINGS
Add a stick of butter to Taste Bud Sauce and heat until the butter has
melted.
Deep-fry the wings.
In a bowl, add the wings to the sauce and roll around.
For those that like more of a vinegar taste add small amounts of vinegar
until you reach your desired taste.
B-B-Q Sauce
1 stick of butter or substitute (oleo)
1 small onion chopped fine
1 clove of garlic
1 cup of Taste Bud Datil Pepper Sauce
3 shakes of Paprika
Salt and pepper
1 tablespoon of vinegar
1 tablespoon of Worchester sauce
½ cup of brown sugar
Combine ingredients and simmer for 30 to 45 minutes
Bake, par boil, or grill your meat or chicken
Apply sauce the last 10 minutes of cooking. Sauce will thicken and be a nice
tasty covering to your dish.
COCKTAIL WIENERS
Add equal amounts of Taste Bud Sauce and Grape Jelly
Add cocktail wieners to mixture and heat
Great for parties
Taste Bud Mustard can be substituted for the Taste Bud Sauce. Blackberry
preserves can be used instead of the grape jelly.
TASTE BUD RIBS
6 to 7 pounds of ribs
2-8oz bottles of Taste Bud Datil Pepper Sauce Hot or Regular
1 can of beer
2 cloves of Garlic
1 tsp sugar
½ tsp of dried basil
Salt and pepper
Combine all of the ingredients and cook slowly for 10 minutes. In something
large enough (plastic bag, Tupperware) for the ribs and sauce add marinate
turning rib to coat evenly. Secure bag or container. Refrigerate for 2 hours.
Drain marinate and save. On medium heat cook ribs for 60 to 70 minutes. During
the last 20 minutes of cooking turn and baste regularly.
TASTE BUD MEAT LOAF
Add Taste Bud to your meat loaf for a delightful difference.
BAHAMIAN CHICKEN
4 medium onions chopped
1 stick butter 10 oz.s Taste Bud Datil Pepper Sauce
1 tsp thyme
Salt and pepper
Splash of Worcestershire sauce
2 lbs. of chicken any cuts you prefer
Combine ingredients in a saucepan and simmer for 55 minutes. Arrange chicken
in baking dish, pour sauce over chicken and bake at 400 degrees for 45
minutes uncover and continue to bake until brown on top.
